Which Stoller?

The boys had a checkup the other day and overall it went really well. Luke is now weighing 20 lbs and 11 oz. and Carter is weighing 20 lbs and 7 oz. They fall into the 64th percentile which is great considering they were 12 weeks premature. We definitely have two happy and healthy little angels. The boys are doing really good with their motor skills and they are eating extremely well and now taking water from a sippy cup. They love their sippy cups, actually. They are both sitting with assistance but we can tell they are very eager to do it on their own.

We're working on buying a new stroller as the boys are outgrowing this one.
Our little preemies.
We wish this one could last a few more months but if these boys legs are gonna grow, they need the space to make it happen. So, it's time. When it comes to double strollers, we don't have a plethora of options but our choices are narrowed down to Big or Expensive! Most importantly, it just needs to last. We like walking and {we do some running} so we've considered a jogging stroller as well. Here are some we've looked at.
City Mini Double
Baby Trend Navigator Jogger (This puppy is HUGE!!!!!!)

Combi Double Stroller

Graco Double Jogger

Sigh.
These things are Big and Not Cheap.

  1. They ARE huge and ARE expensive! BUT... totally worth it. Have used and used my double stroller a TON. Ours is (Graco quattro duo) front to back seats which I think fit through doorways easier, but I have lots of friends with the Combi side by side and they love it. The only downside to the Quatro Duo is that it weighs 40 LBS!! A good work out, I guess! ;)

  2. We have 2 double strollers for our twins. We have a graco quattro double stroller and we do have the baby trend navigator side/side stroller you listed. There are pros and cons to each. I love the graco for it's storage space underneath but hate that the boys can't easily see/talk to each other. The baby trend is nice because the boys can play with each other and also both have a cup/snack holder in front of them which the graco doesn't have but the baby trend has poor storage space for everything you'll need for a twins outing. We love them both but if it were me, I'd go for the baby trend. It'll be nice in the long run. It is huge but believe it or not, it fits in my VW Jetta trunk!

  3. We have those same carseats! Love them. The only stroller we've used is the city Mini one. I love it, but the basket underneath is not easily accessible. I put our diaper bag on top. The City Mini is lightweight and fits through all doorways. I did a lot of research before hand and although it is expensive, I'd say it's worth it. Plus, I heard that twins typically use their strollers longer than singletons so, to me, that helped offset the cost.
