I couldn't ask for a better Mom/Dad in-law! The boys can now travel comfortably in style. 

The boys both have runny noses and little coughs. We're back into the routine of breathing treatments again to keep those little lungs healthy. We haven't seen any teeth pop up yet but my guess would be any day now. We have their 9 month check ups in a couple of days so I'll update on their progress then. Until then, we're off to the pool to soak up some sun shade.

Love you Grandpa

It really tells a lot about a person when tons of people show up to a funeral. My Grandpa was one of a kind. He was one of those people that left a little impression in your heart and on your life. When he spoke, you would always remember things he said. He will be missed by so many people. He told one of the boys "I'm your only Great Grandpa, so don't ever forget me." I have so many memories to share with the boys as they get older. Every time we make pancakes or take the boys fishing, we'll be thinking about you, Grandpa! We love you and we'll see you later.

Roadtrip

My Grandpa has just recently passed away so we are hopping in the car tomorrow morning at 5am and headed back to Nebraska for his funeral. We are so glad we went up there for the Fourth of July so he could meet the boys.  The trip is around 11 hours and we'll have two little handsomes in the back for the ride.

Here are the boys playing. Thanks to the wonderful In-laws, they brought over two exersaucers from their church that weren't being used. We are already getting great use out of them.

Which Stoller?

The boys had a checkup the other day and overall it went really well. Luke is now weighing 20 lbs and 11 oz. and Carter is weighing 20 lbs and 7 oz. They fall into the 64th percentile which is great considering they were 12 weeks premature. We definitely have two happy and healthy little angels. The boys are doing really good with their motor skills and they are eating extremely well and now taking water from a sippy cup. They love their sippy cups, actually. They are both sitting with assistance but we can tell they are very eager to do it on their own.

We're working on buying a new stroller as the boys are outgrowing this one.

 We wish this one could last a few more months but if these boys legs are gonna grow, they need the space to make it happen. So, it's time. When it comes to double strollers, we don't have a plethora of options but our choices are narrowed down to Big or Expensive! Most importantly, it just needs to last. We like walking and {we do some running} so we've considered a jogging stroller as well. Here are some we've looked at.

4th of July on the Farm

We flew to Nebraska for the 4th to see my family and my Grandparents.

I'm bummed because this was such a good picture of my Grandparents and Carter was still napping.

The little town that they live in holds a big 4th of July celebration every year at the city park. I can't say we participated in all the kiddie stuff {yet} but we played in a sand volleyball tournament and we visited with family all day in the park.

The fireworks they put on are better than any that we have seen in Dallas so we were looking forward to those. And the best part, we don't have to sit twenty miles away like we do in Dallas.We had front-row-Joes right across the pond. The boys did awesome sitting through the fireworks! My aunt Susie (AKA: Baby Whisperer) held Carter through the fireworks and Sean held little Luke. We're so proud of them.

It was a very long day for these troopers and they were worn out!

Here's the farm we stay at when we go.Yeah, it's a little dry and drab but we all just squeeze in and it's quite cozy. See the out house? There is usually a line to use it so we just find a tree instead.

My aunt and uncle live out in the country and they have a feedlot where they raise hogs and cattle. They also grow corn, beans and hay and they maintain it with extremely large equipment.
