Blood Transfusions: NICU day 51

Both boys are recieving an IV today for blood transfusions that they need this evening for low red blood count. The doctor called me and said that the babies are both anemic and they would really benefit from more blood given. He also said that they will feel much better afterwards and would be weened off the oxygen and nasal cannula a lot sooner.
